Description

PURPOSE

The purpose of the Academy of Pelvic Health Physical Therapy (“APTA Pelvic Health”) Research Grant Awards program is to encourage the scientific study of issues in pelvic and abdominal health and physical therapy and to support the dissemination of research findings.

AWARD AMOUNT
Funding is available with a total of up to $10,000 to be disbursed to an organization or institution. More than one award may be dispersed. For instance, two separate awards in the amount of $5,000 may be awarded. No salary support or indirect costs are available through this funding mechanism. The funds will be available during a 12-month funding period as set by the timeline unless otherwise modified or extended by the Academy.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENT
Applicants may be students, clinicians, educators, or researchers. At least one member of the investigative team needs to be an Academy member in good standing.
